For those of you who have been happily married or with a significant other for the past ten years this topic will be a bit foreign to you. Online dating. When my husband of fifteen years and I decided it was better for us to be apart than together my friends suggested that I get on Match.com to check out who was out there that would also be looking for a date. I use Wild Blue to get on all my favorite web sites so I decided why not add this one to my growing list of bookmarked web sites? I got on with no intentions of forming any actual lasting relationships because that just seemed silly and crazy that I could meet someone over the internet. It seemed like to me there would be no way to form a real connection with someone without physically meeting them first. It turns out I was wrong. I have met some really interesting men that have actually been quite nice, much to my surprise. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is being reintroduced to the dating scene. It is a nice way to creep in and test the waters.
